Overview
An AI startup approached me to build the web platform for Jaras.ai — a tool that lets businesses create and deploy conversational AI agents without writing code. The platform needed a visual drag-and-drop flow builder, multi-channel deployment (voice, chat, SMS, phone), and a polished user experience that made complex AI workflows feel simple.
The Challenge
Building a no-code AI agent platform is a UI/UX challenge as much as a technical one. The flow builder had to be intuitive enough for non-technical users while powerful enough to handle complex conversation logic — intent routing, appointment booking, human escalation, and more. It also needed to deploy agents across multiple channels from a single workflow design.
The Solution
I built the platform with Next.js and React, designing a visual flow builder that lets users drag and drop conversation nodes to create complex AI workflows. The interface abstracts away the complexity of LLM integration, intent classification, and multi-channel routing behind a clean, intuitive UI. Users can go from idea to deployed agent in minutes.
The Process
Architecture & Design
Planned the platform architecture to support real-time flow editing, agent preview, and multi-channel deployment. Designed a component system that makes conversation flows visual and editable.
Flow Builder Development
Built the core visual flow builder with drag-and-drop nodes, connection logic, and real-time preview. Each node type (greeting, intent router, action, escalation) has its own configuration panel.
Multi-Channel Integration
Implemented deployment pipelines for voice, chat, SMS, and phone channels — all driven from the same workflow definition. Users design once, deploy everywhere.
Polish & Launch
Refined the UI for clarity and speed, added onboarding flows, and launched with a free tier to drive adoption.
